PT Wasp freeze is a wasp spray that is a quick kill for wasps, bees, and hornets. It can spray nearly 15 feet to kill ground bees like Cicada killers or paper wasp nests. It's a Pyrethroid and works very well against bees.

What do you use when you need to place baits outside? You can't just slop it any old where. You need to use a good bait dispenser. Ant Cafes are great for this reason. It keeps your baits clean and safe and out of the weather.

Maxforce is a company that has alot of products for ants and roaches and one of the products in it's arsenal is the Maxforce Carpenter Ant Bait Gel. It is formulated specifically for carpenter ants who have traditionally been hard to bait for in the past. I have heard of companies like Coopers Pest Control who used this product to eliminate these pests from structures. There is alot of good news about Maxforce carpenter ant gel. Delta Dust

What is the characteristics of dust when they come in contact with moisture? It clumps, breaks down, hardens, becomes useless. Now what if I told you there was a dust that defied the laws of dust? A dust that could float on water. A dust that was moisture resistant. Well that is just what Delta Dust is and it is a fantastic product when it comes to using it in areas where there is or could be high moisture.

Tick Tubes

A great product called tick tubes can be placed around your yard. The tube is infused with permethrin. As mice and other rodents that host the ticks collect nesting materials (tick tubes),the ticks are exposed in the nesting site of the rodent. Love this idea. If you are looking for a good tick control system for your yard then this one is definitely worth a look!

Niban and Niban FG is a fantastic product for treatment of waterbugs, ants, and crickets! Easy to apply and a broad range of pests makes this product popular in the pest control field.

Bed Bug Spray

As I look for products for the home owner to help with the control of bedbugs I came across an interesting product from Tallman Scientific called the Bedbug Control Kits. It looks like a good overall comprehensive kit that is in the vein of integrated pest management. It's an overall program and one that looks like it can at least be a good start.

Flea traps

This trap mimics the heat and light that a dog or cat makes. Flea traps work great to verify if you actually have a flea problem. If enough of them are used you can help control these critters. Fleas are no fun, but this trap will help in their control. An A+.

Bee and Wasp Trap

This is the old stand by when it comes to trapping bees, wasps and yellow jackets. It looks like the best bait to get the bees into these traps would be a 50/50 part apple juice concentrate and water.

Optigard ant gel bait

Everyone is looking for the next best thing when it comes to ant control. Ant gel baits seem to the most popular and Optigard is no different. This bait is thicker and clear which is important to application. Very attractive to ants and seems to be getting good reviews so far.

Talpirid Mole Bait

Moles can reek havoc on a person's lawn and there is nothing more frustrating than spending a lot of time and money on your lawn, only to have it ripped up by moles! Who are these creatures of destruction? They feed mostly on insects and love, love, love earthworms. Their appetite is incredible and their metabolism is super high. They are active all year which means they do not hibernate. They breed in late winter or early spring which means you can look for a boost in activity about 10 weeks later. They build tunnels like the English with a primary run, and exploratory run, and deep tunnels. Last but not least. They damage lawns.So how do get rid of them? Well there are all kinds of traps and devises you can uses, but lately there is a product being used by the professional pest controllers called Talpirid from Bell Laboratories. It is a poison bait that mimics an earth worm. One "worm" contains a lethal dose and they are easy to apply. This product is not available at your local hardware store, but pest control operators can get it and it is working like hot cakes! Happy hunting!

Fly control

In a previous entry I reviewed a product by Bayer called Maxforce Fly Spot bait. I used this product myself over the weekend and it looks like it might be the next miracle products to eliminate flies. I used it around a bush that was attracting flies like crazy and minutes after the application they were "dropping like flies" . Great product!

Gypsy Moth Trap

It seems like gypsy moths are all the rage so I thought I'd look into some gypsy moth traps that are available. One that came to mind was the old stand by Gypsy Moth Trap by Safer. It comes with the trap, lure and two bags. The lure lasts 12 weeks. Aside from Chemical treatments I think these traps work fantastically.

Fly Spot Bait by Bayer

Dead flies instantly? Then you will want to look into Bayer's new bait product called Fly Spot. Mix it up in water to spray or as a thicker mixture as a paint and treat the surfaces the flies are landing on most. Not sure where they are hanging out exactly? No fear because the flies will be attracted to the Fly Spot bait and die all the same. Great reviews and buzz about this product.

Advion Ant Arena

Looking for the newest ant product out there. Dupont's ant arena is that product with Indoxicarb being the active ingredient. The reviews are pretty positive at this time and a welcome product in the ant arsenal.

Suspend and Kicker=dead bedbugs

The combination of these two products manufactured by Bayer has been causing alot of stir in the bed bug community! It seems that combining the two during treatment is speeding up the kill time of bed bugs by almost half. This is good news in the fight against bed bugs.

Phantom Bedbug Control

Another fine product for bedbug control as well as roaches and ants is a product called Phantom. It is a non-repellent chemical that the insect walks over unknowingly and tracks it back to the nest which kills off the insects in a domino effect manner. It is now labelled for bed bugs. You have to check your state to be sure it is labelled in it. Definitely a fantastic product.

The Lousebuster

The louse buster uses hot dry air to kill lice. The tube has a comb attached to the end of it and the success rate in studies is very promising. This product is not yet available commercially.
