BBD-100 Bed Bug Detector

Can't bring a dog on vacation with you to sniff out the bed bugs now can you? We all know that the best thing to do when you enter your hotel room is to plop your bags in the bath tub and begin your inspection, but even professionals have trouble finding bed bugs during a professional inspection. That is why there are K-9 inspections, but this is not practical on vacation. So now there is a product that is a bed bug detection electronic device call a BBD-100. Basically it sucks air in and detects the presence of bed bugs. Not sure how effective this product is, but it is interesting to see the many new products coming to market these days for bed bugs.

I was privileged to be one of the PCO's to test the BBD-100 bed bug detector during it's development stage and I loved it. I do a lot of bed bug inspections and it pinpointed where they were hiding every time. At one job it found them in the kid's stuffed animals and in the pop corn ceiling in another job.

It is a great tool and I will use mine every day.
